At HitBliss, I wore many hats, balancing my role as a UX designer with that of a visual designer. This diverse skill set allowed me to contribute to a wide range of projects, including all branding and marketing efforts. One of the more significant tasks I tackled was designing a comprehensive booklet for the marketing team. This booklet was no small undertaking. It was a 16-page, 8” x 11” full-color masterpiece, meticulously crafted to be pre-press ready and developed using InDesign. The goal was to create a visually appealing and informative piece that would effectively communicate our brand's message and values. The process began with understanding the core objectives of the booklet. It needed to serve as a versatile tool for the marketing team, showcasing our offerings and engaging potential clients. Every detail was carefully considered, from the layout and typography to the choice of images and color schemes. The design had to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, ensuring that the content was easy to read and navigate. Using InDesign, I was able to leverage its powerful tools to create a polished and professional design. The software's capabilities allowed for precise control over the layout, ensuring that each page was perfectly aligned and formatted. Full-color printing added another layer of complexity, requiring careful selection of colors and images to ensure they would translate well in print. Throughout the project, collaboration with the marketing team was essential. Their insights and feedback helped shape the final product, ensuring it met all their needs and expectations. The result was a well-crafted booklet that effectively conveyed our brand's story, enhancing our marketing efforts and providing a valuable resource for the team.
